Audi A3

General Information
Audi A3, a very well known and beloved car, especially for those who just got their drivers license. Introduced a decade ago in Europe and brought to the United States in 2006, the A3 is Audi's entry-level model for the North American market. In this stage people want a decent and trustable also a quiet fast and powerfull car. The brand name says alot, but how it looks is even more important. Deffinatly when you got the 2009´s or newer model. Earlier models where less attractive because of the looks and the high fuel consumption.
As usual you can pick different types with a varied range from the economic e-variant (2.0L) to the 3.2L VR6-motor. Quiet a difference in the fuel consumption, but you'll have power in return.

Driver experience
I managed to drive this car a few times, as it made a good impression on me. Stepping inside makes you feel really comfortable and safe. As I started the engine and took off
it really drives sublime, is well on the road and the power steering is very smooth! The engine is pretty economical and extremely spicy as I floored the gas pedal.

Specifications
This Audi A3 standard version is suited with a diesel motor, a 2.0L TDI which produces 105pk, its called the economic e-variant, a good buy, but for someone that is really into cars it is rather boring.
There is also a 3.2L VR6-motor which produces 250HP, which is pretty interesting. This engine is also used in the Volkswagen Golf R32.

Mercedes E63 AMG

General Information & specifications
Get ready for some more genius German engineering, here is Mercedes-Benz with the E63 AMG. That the new E63 would not have a 6,2L V8 engine again is not news. What is new? In compensation for the loss of 700 cc they added 2 turbo's. The specifications for the newest Mercedes E63 5,5L V8 standard provides you with 525 HP, 700Nm torque and able to bring you from 0-100 km/h in just 4,3 seconds. That's not bad at all.

You better buy this E63 AMG with a performance package, this will upgrade your Horsepowers from 525 to 557 and also adds another 100Nm torque, resulting in a 0,1 second faster drag race to 100 km/h. Both limited on a 250km/h. More likely to buy the Estate will drop your acceleration speed with a tenth.

The smaller supercharged engine with a 7-speed automatic gearbox and the start-stop application its 22% more efficient than its predecessor. This means (only if you can behave yourself) you can actually drive 100km on less than 10 liters!

The market launched on on September 2011, prices in Germany remain unchanged at 105.000 euro for the Sedan. and 108.000 for the Estate. The AMG Performance Package adds an extra 8000 euro to the base price, which I think is really worth it.

Audi's Q7

General Information
For those who didn't like the Porsche Cayenne, here's a some what comparable car by Audi. This huge terrain SUV which is in the same category as the Hummer H2, Porsche Cayenne and Land Rover is the longest of all these listed above. The 5 meters long Audi Q7 is too big for a regular parking spot, but therefor the camera's and sensors will help you out. Audi always offers luxury and comfortable cars, but this massive limousine with a slightly higher seat will deffinatly make you feel comfortable and safe.
Interior
Inside, the Q7 feels like a first class trip limousine. As the name suggests, the Q7somewhere between an Audi A6 and A8. The interior is overwhelming. Everything is spacious and even oversized. For example the mountain box between the front seats is greater than the glove compartment of an average car! The finish is, as befits Audi, spotless. The advantage of the "Verano" leather interior of the test car was that after a day on the management is easy to clean.

The equipment leaves little to be desired. That is, if enough boxes on the options list are checked. The price in the brochure is just the start of negotiations. The real pamperingstarts with ProLine +, S-Line and other packages. I've heard several bad things about the Bose sound system, which is a very decent brand if you ask me.

Highly recommended is the "Adaptive Cruise Control" with which the car keeps distance himself. In practice, even manages to take this fully automatic parallel to drive! "Side Assist" provides a light in the mirror when a vehicle is in the blind spot. "Advanced Key" makes life easy with keyless entry. Moreover, preferences of the car are stored in the key.

Specifications and Driving Experience
The Audi Q7 is big and heavy, but there are equally large and heavy engine in front. The reason for this test drive is the new 4.2-liter diesel engine that the Q7 is available for severalmonths. This diesel engine is a powerhouse of the first order. Although the Audi Q7 and Volkswagen Touareg share the same technical base, 4.2 liter V8 delivers more power thanVolkswagen's 5.0 liter V10. The Audi is good for 326 hp and a torque of 760 Nm.

The effect of all that power is downright addictive. A tap on the accelerator is enough to get away to spray. The nose up slightly, the Q7 rears like a wild horse and shoot it off. The sprint from 0 to 100 km / h is cleared in just 6.4 seconds.

Porsche Cayenne

Allround rating: 4/5

General Information
The Porsche Cayenne is a five seat mid-size luxury crossover manufactured by the German manufacturer Porsche since 2002, with North American sales beginning in 2003. Its platform was developed by Porsche and is shared with the Volkswagen Touareg and the Audi Q7. It is the first V8-engined vehicle built by Porsche since 1995, when the Porsche 928 was discontinued. Since 2008, all engines have featured direct injection technology. Thanks to its all-wheel-drive system, razor-sharp steering and superb brakes, the Porsche Cayenne demonstrates surprising dexterity around corners. The current car isn't quite as adept off-road as the original Cayenne, but we can't imagine many people will care. Several engines are offered, and I generally recommend springing for one of the V8 models, as they are the only ones truly up to the task of getting the heavy Cayenne moving with the alacrity befitting a Porsche. Be it new or used, however, the Cayenne is one of the best luxury SUVs you can get.

As you  can see the interior looks really comfortable and so it is. There is absolutely no lack on luxury inside.  You could spend hours of driving without getting bored. The standard 10-speaker sound system is decent and will keep you awake, but there are optional BOSE and Burmester packages with more wattage and speaker count, depending on how deep your wallet is. A powered moonroof, Servotronic power steering, floor mats, Bluetooth connectivity and a universal audio in (Aux/USB/iPod) are now standard on the S model.

Driving  Experience & Specifications
Look at other V8-powered performance SUVs in the segment, and the Porsche stands out as the most expensive. Between the Audi Q7 4.2 quattro, BMW X5 xDrive50i, Mercedes-Benz ML550 4MATIC and Range Rover Sport HSE, only the aging Audi breaks the 60.000 mark for base prices. None offer the outright performance of the Cayenne, and its flexibility in delivering off-road thrills too. Porsche Cayenne Turbo S: 4,8L Biturbo producing a mighty 550HP, has a topspeed of 275Km/h and best known for its perfect acceleration, this beast will bring you from 0-100 in just 4,8s. Want more? 0-200 in only 16,4s!!
